A deal with one contact is not in the forecast, whatever the stage
Single-threaded deals closed at less than half the rate of multi-threaded ones across 180 closed deals.
The record
The win/loss dataset is unambiguous: a deal with exactly one named contact converts at well under half the rate of one with two or more, and the losses cluster on the contact leaving or going quiet. Single-threaded deals stay in the pipeline and out of the committed forecast until a second contact is named, no matter how advanced the stage looks.
